The Critic and Her Publics hosted by Merve Emre was one of my favorite 2024 podcasts. Great to see it’s been extended for two more seasons.

I’d love to see this being used for code / technical design reviews! Coders at Work and Beautiful Work are in a similar space but putting an unfamiliar piece of work in front of an expert provides an interesting insight into how they approach a problem.

Was thinking of this tweet in the context of a maxim used in functional / typed languages to make illegal states impossible by designing types appropriately. In some ways the types approach is like algebra and units conversion in a formula.

An example of how what you hear in your social circles may not be indicative of reality. Quite a few people in my network mention using Claude, but it’s still lagging way behind ChatGPT
